In Dubai’s prestigious Emirates Hills, Al Fanous took on an extraordinary project: installing a stunning slim window in Dubai for a luxury villa using seven giant glass panels. The Challenge of Moving Massive Glass Panels

Transporting these massive glass panels posed a significant challenge. Each panel weighed between 650 and 700 kilograms, amounting to nearly 4 tonnes of glass. We carefully loaded the panels onto seven separate trucks at our workshop to ensure safe delivery.

The journey required meticulous planning to avoid damage during transit. With their expertise and dedication, our team successfully ensured the safe arrival of all seven panels at the site. Once there, we began the careful unloading and preparation for installation.

Matching Colours for a Perfect Finish

A crucial aspect of the project was ensuring that the new windows seamlessly blended with the villa’s existing design. The villa featured grey aluminum finishes, and we sourced high-quality materials from Poland to achieve a perfect color match. This attention to detail maintained the villa’s cohesive aesthetic while enhancing its elegance.

The Installation Process

Installing the 15-meter panels was a complex and delicate task. Two large cranes and a team of 18 skilled professionals worked in unison to lift and position each panel into its frame.

Every team member had a specific role, from guiding the cranes to securing the panels. Precision was critical, as even a minor misalignment could affect the overall structure. Each panel was carefully inspected to ensure a secure and flawless fit, with no room for error.

Completing the Look in Just Four Days

Despite the challenges, our team completed the installation in only four days. This required exceptional coordination, expertise, and attention to detail.
